34 though BOTH my uncles were rocking the Atrai 2600 my first system....yep...Nintendo Entertainment System. I'd spend countless hours playing Mario 1 and 2, get ticked at that Duck Hunt Dog...yeah, I wanted shoot it...all in all the olden kid days are memories and I won't forget. Like people born when the old Playstation came out or the Gamecube...it'll get to them once they get older and wax on about it...nostalgia kicks in!!!

Looking back at it now, I can say I'm heavy on classics. I currently own a ps3 but download all the classics or classic related I can find (this one as well). NES/Master/Genesis all have a place in my heart. I played some current stuff (I like Metal Gear which is a RCR ref) and fighters/wrestling but outside of that Naaaah.

Nice to see a fellow wrassin fan. Your hear of Abobo's Big Adventure??, its a free browser game...TONS of 80s game cameos (sprites included) and the 80s gameplay we loved and hated.
This game and Abobos got me on my big 80s kick.

23 - Megadrive was my first. You know, but in that era you got exposed to it all. I had friends with different systems, my friend had an NES and I grew up with a mastersystem too, and nowadays I'm more interested in retro games instead of new ones. I was astounded the other day because someone who called themselves a "gamer" didn't recognise metroid O_o They kinda just like team fortress though. *sigh*
Not just games though, this game has lots of references from that era. Ninja Wraps next to Vanilla Icecream made me laugh for example. I doubt a lot of people would have got that, so its very niche.
