Don't hear only the FFXIII one-eyed fans, it's a great game...just takes some time to keep up it's rhythm ^^

Have guns, but isn't (another) shooter on the HD generation

--STORY--
actually the story it's a little confusing at first (that is, if it's really a story), but as players can tell, you enter in a group of "hunters" that is more or less a group that does favors for the richer people to get...well, money to keep a living
it's not that you're a poor character in the game, but you can't even get close to the style they keep.

--GAMEPLAY--
While on the run, it's just like any other RPG you might've played before...you talk with townspeople, find hidden items, enter torunaments, buy weapons parts, etc etc
In battle, the game truly shines on. Your party appears on the screen and you can command them to execute attacks on your opponents in the distance, making a little movie-action sequence unique to each character (and no, they don't repeat over and over the same sequence...it all depends on your character weapon and distance)
But it's not only static combat! by pressing X button (xbox360) you can choose to run on the scenery while shooting on a same (or multiple) enemies in a single turn wih even a chance to send them to the sky...oh, and you can make some jaw-dropping stunt jumps on this mode too
Against loads of enemies and bosses, you get some resonance points when your character runs through two of your party members, and by spending them, all your party can strike at once, sweeping the area quickly and with a movie-like animation

-- WHY SHOULD I GIVE(OR NOT) THIS GAME A TRY? --
RPG-lover or not, you should definitely give this game a try...it's one of just a very few games that makes a good mix of the party abilities and weapons so fantastically as this game (even without spells and specials like other games), plus, it mixes real-time strategy with turn-based strategy to make it into another level of strategy games, making even a no-story game into a blast!

taking it simple...well, people can like games I dislike and vice-versa, but if you're reading this, at least rent it first.
