Great FPS, innovative weapons and storyline, but very ugly enemies!! Be warned ....
You play as Nathan Hale, American soldier fighting in England against the Chimera, some kind of mutated species, created in some obscure labs in Siberia. Time is after WW II, when the Chimera come out of Russia to conquer first continental Europe and then England.
The enemies are awfull, really frightening, so you should really play this game at night in a dark room. For sure, you will get some breath-taking moments, because you will be fully immersed in the game (always a good sign).
Good thing is that they really put up the fight, they look for cover, dodge away, throw grenades to get you out of cover, not the easiest foes to fight against.
Als very interesting are the original weapons you can use. You have the classic year-50 human weapons, but also the more state of the art Chimera weapons, some of them very effective and original. You also always will have a 2nd fire stand which can help you a lot in the big fights.
The multiplayer also should be very good, but I haven't played it yet, so not possible to give my opinion on it.
No real negative points to be found. Sometimes environment is a bit alike, but not too much and a FPS is always more or less the same. Dodge away, chose the right weapons and make the kills. Simple but so much fun!!!
