You'll be saying OH CRAP within 10 minutes of starting the game! A great cinematic story and graphics.

I knew the game was going to be good but I did not anticipate how much I would end up absolutely loving this game. I particularly enjoyed the story and the idea that a regular ole' soldier and father can create so much havoc and rebellion. Typical story of a one man army ready to save the world but mainly because his main focus are his wife and kid. You get fully immersed in the type of action you can experience throughout the game within 10 minutes of playing. No spoilers here, sorry! The story, as unlikely as it may seem, continues to build and get more and more unbelievable. That is why we play games though right! We play to get infused in a world of "Superhuman" abilities. There are times when I found myself hiding behind a corner or inside a room of a building crying out for my momma and wishing I had my baby blanket because I didn't want to get my head bit off from some freakishly looking monsters. The bottom line is the story continues to move forward and never seems stagnant. The enemies are endless, tough, kind of smart (AI), constantly grunting their hatred for you, and forever seeking to end your miserable life. There were times in the game that I actually thought (only for a few seconds) of reducing the difficulty level to easy. Overall this is one of the funnest First Person Shooters I have ever played and I anticipate this will be a title I pop back in to play again.
Now to review the Playstation Move compatibility. I played the entire game from start to finish with the Move and Navigation controllers. I enjoyed it and it gave me a new experience. It was particularly difficult to learn a new way of playing (especially a shooter) but either way, it was a fun experience. Now the negative. I DID NOT enjoy playing the game with the Sharpshooter gun. It is clearly advertised with and without this specific peripheral and I am quite surprised that it doesn't work better with it. I ended up playing the game with the controllers rested on my lap. It never seemed comfortable enough or calibrate well enough to my liking. Could it be that I simply am not accustomed enough to the Move controller? Maybe. But in either case, I will try it again now that I have countless hours of playtime with the Move. It took quite some time for me to figure out which calibration I liked. I docked the game 1 point because the developer seems to not have put enough energy into designing a better calibration experience and interface. Fix that and this game gets a 10! Now this isn't even including the Multi-Player (MP) experience. I think with so many people playing exclusively COD and Battlefield 3, they are limiting their gaming experience. This MP was fun and challenging. Unfortunately, there weren't very many people when I went on. Overall, I enjoyed the ranking system and game play. It would be nice to see developers offer incentives to purchase DLC packs and even offer coupons or sales as the games get older. There is no reason why someone should pay the same prices for a DLC when the game itself has dropped to half its original retail price. You can get his game easily for under $30 and it would be well worth your money to have some extra alien killing joy in your life.
