It's fun and all but too hard at parts .. i gave it up early on, good thing i only borrowed it ,cause it 's not worth paying for.
Why are you guys showing a Gears commercial on a video review for a PS3 game? Foolish marketing execs... when will you learn...
i got completely bored by this game by the time i got to the woodland area and gave up. the combat is tediously boring and whats with the use of green crates everywhere to funnel you, thats pure lazy level design. its put me off the franchise and how on earth it managed to get a 9 only leads me to question the credability of gamespot reviews. 9 out of 10? 1 point away from perfection? makes me sick.
Love the resistance series and for those Halo fan boys, I have played every Halo game known to man, the first two were fantastic, 3 sucked it was 2.5, odst crap, halo war waste of my money, halo reach restored dignity to the franchise i loved as a kid, but Resistance has the most enthralling setting and better guns especially with their special abilities.
Not what I expected but still up for R3 BioshockKid its nothing like Halo ( halos way better ) most of the weapons are old timers modified extremely dull visuals even for a franchise like "Resistance" and even compared to H2 ( no offence meant not sticking up for Microsoft )
It surprises me that there are only 12 guns in this game. Most shooters have an abundance of guns, with multiple types of pistols, machine guns, assault rifles, and much more. But as long as those guns are satisfying to shoot, no one will give a crap. (:
The game looks great plays great alot better than R1 and the water wow looks amazing, and when you know who dies it was sad.
whenever im bored i just pop in resistance 2 and shoot some chimera IN THE FACE. this game is awesome but ive played better. like killzone 2.
i didnt like the weapon wheel in fall of man. it made the game way too easy.if youve only got 2 weapons you gotta think and choose what you need.

Hoping the 3rd will have the same crazy amount of weapons the first had, you can't slay chimera without at least 20 gut busting, face melting, body severing guns it just wouldn't be Resistance. Great job insominiac.
@Krzychu_85 if this is the worst shooter you've ever played than you've obviously never played Halo 3 or ODST
This game was terrible, they completely ruined it, the first was awesome but the second made a story seem twisted and stupid just horrible
@Jean_rainer.its because of the date apart they were reviewed.the bar raises each year in the gaming war,so a game made a few years ago might not get the same score as it would now and a game made a few later might get the same score
Man this looks hard!! I loved this first on though, so maybe I'll still try this one also!!!!!!!
A very fun game. The plot may suck but the campaign is very fun and is on a large scale with big boss battles and lots of enemies. 60 people online is really cool too but the best part really is the co-op IMO. It's a blast to play.
Resistance 3will NOT come to any other platform than PS3 if it coming out. Insomniac games confrimed that any title that is on the PS3 atm from them will stay exclusive
i wonder if they're making a resistance 3. it'll probably be on the 360 because i'm pretty sure that insominaic is now partners with EA so they're probably making a third for all platforms
