This seemed to be a completely different game altogether from the original. The tone, the 'affect' , the graphics, the environments, the attack, the attitude, - completely different game. Different enough that it was jarring, although I did in the end enjoy the game.
PROS : Secondary weapon options were perfection - relevant, advantageous, and fun to use. Even the basic pistol had a great option without requiring trophies. Upgrade on graphic scale = ok, but change to palette was shocking.
CONS:Biggest disappointment was the TONS of nooks/cranny's/spaces/outlets the built into the game, WITH NO REWARDS. No extra ammo/upgrades/secrets/info/INTEL, and I found several by accident that I was like 'Oh, yeah, gonna be a secret gun or secret intel or something..." NADA. And there had to be a plan for it, because WHY spend the money to build them in? TOO SHORT single player plan. WEAK boss sections (final boss battle was worst I've ever played. Period) . Final 'escape scene' - what wasted potential.
