Resident Evil on rails

User Rating: 6 | Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles WII
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles for the Nintendo Wii is a rail shooting game that goes in one direction, while you watch out for zombies and other creatures. This game this place in Resident Evil 0, 1 and 3 until the downfall of Umbrella Corporation. The gameplay is very simple, you can choose to play in a nunchuck+wiimote or in a Wii zapper in which you have to point and shoot; some enemies have a weakness spot where you can kill in one shot. You also could upgrade you weapons that you obtain while collecting on that level, when you come back for completing that level. The graphic in Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronics is like the Gamecube version of Resident Evil 0 and the remake Resident Evil, while others like Carlos Oliveira gets a make over. The sound in this game doesn't have a lot scary theme and most of the time is silence and all you can hear is gun shots and zombie/creature making noise. Overall, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles for Wii is kind of like those arcades where you just point and shoot with a nun chuck to look a little bit to the sides, up and down.

Gameplay: 7- Just point and shot everything.

Graphics: 6- Some character look like their Gamecube counter part, while other character got a make over.

Sound: 5- Not a lot of scary music and most of the time, you just hear zombie/creature noises and gun shots.

Value: 6- Even though you put this game on easy mode, the game still plays like is in hard mode.
