Now I picked this up for $20 and I loved it! It's fun with friends, generally scary at times and is tough as nails in the later levels, I'd be happy to pay $40-$50 if I had of known how much I'd enjoy it!

While Mercenaries isn't bad for a handheld RE game, I really do miss the original RE games. After RE5, the series became a 3rd person CoD clone. Well, at least I still have RE Deadly Silence for DS.
I still enjoyed it a lot. I'm hoping that the controls and inventory from this one stick around for Revelations.
@pyshco ahh you make the common assumption that gamespot editorial staff have something to do with advertising ... they only do th reviews and the articles, the marketing department is responsible for the adverts and they have nothing to do with the editorial staff .... so no its not hypocritical
Looks great and I totaly agree about the price/lack of content issue you can tell the moment you look at the title of the game but if it good if you get it for £13 quid haha :)
God people. It was obviously a fun test for Capcom to see if they COULD make a resident evil game on the 3ds. Yes full price is a bit much but still at least we know its possible! If you don't like it then don't buy it and just wait for the next one to come out.
wait what no share items option on this one.. what!! this game is crap. Unless you don't have a 360,PC or PS3 this is a no buy ..just my advice.
thats it gamespot advertise it on your website and then slag it off and then have the nerve to keep advertising it even when you tell us its a lackluster game, talk about hipicritacle

I really wanted a RE campaign for the 3DS. I never liked mercenaries on the console versions, I just played it to have a look at what it was about and then moved on. I don't think I'll even bother renting this. I really hope Capcom delivers a proper RE game for the 3DS. This is a big disappointment as RE was one of the few titles that looked promising at launch.

im the one selling it on glyde.com for 33.50 in case anoyone wants to try this for cheap, i barely touched it before i decided to sell, plenty of unlockable stuff left
I have a feeling this was only released because they couldn't fit it into Revelations. Either that or Capcom was just testing out Resident Evil gameplay on the 3DS and decided to release what they had put together. I'm interested in getting this, but I don't have my own 3DS yet and I never really cared for the Mercenaries minigame really so my interest is low.
