Resident Evil Revelations brings its survival horror to consoles

Every RE article is the same thing. People bitching about the new RE, people asking for the old tank gameplay style back, people making up stuff to justify why they think 4 through 6 suck and so on. Get over it people, RE1-3 has a dated gameplay style and it is not coming back. I loved RE4 for what it did to the series and seriously, anyone who has complaints about RE5 must not have played it in co-op. However, I have to agree with those against RE6 (in parts). I only played the demo and as someone said, the only thing that resembled RE was Leon campain (or, level, whatever). Chris' was pure Gears of War and that other guy's couldn't be more L4D. People also used to complain that the movement was stiff and not being able to move while aiming was stupid. Did you move while aiming in RE1-3? No! Did not moving work in RE4-5? Yes. Did moving work in 6? Not at all. 

Now that I got it all out of my system, lemme say that I'm really excited for Revelations. I liked the idea since I heard about it on the 3DS but since I don't have any plans for buying the portable anytime soon, it's good to see it coming to the home consoles.

People stop complaining about RE 4, 5 & 6, they are not as scary as RE 1, 2 & 3 but they do have a better gameplay than the old ones and an interesting continuing story.

And there are only 2 things I don't like about RE 6,

1: the fact that we can't buy and upgrade weapons and equipments.

2: Chris campaign ending.

I have played all the Resident evils in all the playstations more than once and I like them all no matter how bad are their ratings, I like resident evil for not only its horror but also for its story, the horror in the new ones is not interesting but at least it's story is.

I can't tell if this game actually has body targeting or not because he's only shooting at the torso. It would be stupid to just shoot at an enemy who doesn't react to leg shots and stuff. The monster doesn't even stop, just plows through the bullets and knocks you down.

I miss the RE 2-3 series with the zombies and other monstrosity. Sometimes i wonder if the designers and developer are RE_t@rds for keeping on developing bad games, its not what they want its what the fans want that matters cause they are the consumers. They should start listening to fans specially when Dead Space is Way better than the past RE games.

In short return the Zombies and make it more a survival horror like the old ones instead of making bad games because the anticipated RE6 and OP: Raccoon City sucks Hard!!

Is this an apology from Capcom for the travisty that was RE6?  Leon's campaign in 6 was the closest thing to the original authentic RE expeience.

This series needs to go old school quick, because Dead Space has stolen your crown!

Ummm this is all very nice but when is RE6 coming to the PC?

After RE5 i vowed to avoid the series, then played RE6 after so much hype, was again disappointed. Was looking forward to this title because i know how successful it was on 3DS but, what are these enemies what happened to just plain old zombies? On RE6 my favorite campaign was Leon's because it was actually zombies not mutants, giant insect humans, and such. I know they tried with ORC and...well that was not too fun ether. I think the series needs a HUGE reconstruction.

I loved this game on the 3DS and I'm really looking forward to it on console.

If you've never played it before on the 3DS, you're in for a treat!

Not the best story. But it was very fun for a handheld game, hopefully they will add enough to make it worth while on a console.

If there is still a pain in your heart from RE6 then this is the game to check out. I personally think this should be played on 3DS but the game is still worth playing on console.

The enemies look more like Dead Space.  :/

Well, after 6's tepid reception, it's a no brainer for them to try to milk the franchise for what they can before everyone starts hating on it permanently. May Capcom should hire ole Cliffy B. to pump some life back into the franchise. At this point, it sure as hell wouldn't hurt. 6  is pretty much an abomination of what made this series so spectacular in the first place. A shame, really. I was really hoping 6 would be a return to its roots. Guess not. 

REMAKE RESIDENT EVIL 3!!!!!! Don't change the gameplay at all....just update it like RE for Gamecube!!!!!!

I quit playing Resident Evil after 5. 5 was laughable. Oh how I must plug in my PS, GC, & Dreamcast to enjoy a RE game.

Resident Evil Revelations on every console except Vita. Even the "pirate's heaven" PC is getting it.

I've played RE Revelations on a friend's 3DS. And a game this awesome should be available on as many platforms as possible. EVERYONE should get to experience this game.
