Resident Evil: Revelations User Review
- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 20 to 40 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Worth playing"
Resident Evil Revelations takes place between four and five in hopes to fill in some of the plot holes.
You start off as Jill Valentine one of the survivors of Raccoon City who is assigned a new partner Parker Luciani you are sent in to investigate the Queen Zenobia a carnival cruise ship that has fallen silent to a bio-terrorist organization known as veltro whom have taken control of the queen zenobia which follow the the identical path of unbrella who have become defunct due to the discovery of the t-virus.
The game is divided into twenty episodes of twist and turns the cruise ship itself"Queen Zenobia"is a well modeled and textured ship from bulkhead to foredeck.
The Enemies: are not scary more or less just creepy there are a few interesting infected and a few blend ones.
The Characters: there is some emotion but not a whole lot some of the characters do show some personality but very little.
The Weapons:as you progress through the game you will come across custom parts(illegal parts)which you can use to modify your gun to shoot faster stronger carry more rounds or even burst fire these parts are essential to your survival.
The one thing that creeped me out was the voice of one fellow passenger's whom utters the words"Mayday Mayday This....is the queen...Zen-obia. Emergancy Call....Maaaaaaaaay(heavy inhale)Daaaaaaaaay..."however after finding out what was behind that door it was a letdown.
Raid Mode:replacing Mercenaries mode this allows the player to play through some areas of the game getting from start to finish you can play on your own or with a friend or gain experience and better weapons and mods as you play through this mode and unlock more character costumes which grant different ability's such as the faster and more powerful use of magnums or the effective use of herbs.
This is not the best or worst resident evil game but it tries to impress new and long time players alike.

With no RE5/6-type of co-op and with the very basic set of mechanics, the only thing left is the story.
