Resident Evil: Revelations User Review
This game is a masterpiece just like RE4

- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 10 to 20 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Amazing"
-This is the first of the new-generation over-the-shoulder games that really feels like an old resident evil game. There are great action sequences throughout but there are also times when you desperately need ammo and there is next to none. It is a perfect mix.
-They spent more time on this story than in past RE games.
-Controls are perfect. (even though the reload/back and shoot/activate buttons are switched from RE4(I guess this changed on RE5 but I played RE5 on PC with a mouse and keyboard so I never knew))
-The visuals are stunning
-Combining herbs and such is gone. The only healing items are green herbs that you use the "a" button in real-time to heal yourself.
-The only reason it didn't get a perfect ten from me is the fact that I wasn't a big fan of this particular upgrade system/ I wasn't a huge fan of the Genesis scanner/ and I wish I could have been playing this game on my PS3 instead of the 3DS.
-This game belongs on a home console as it is a full Resident Evil game. I think it deserves a number after it but since it takes place between 4 and 5 there isn't a number for it and 4.5 sounds cheap. So I propose "Resident Evil Fourve".
I am going to go use a label maker and stick that over the revelations title.
Good day.

An impressive, independently strong, and high quality RE game that got me interested in the RE series.

Resident Evil Revelations does a fine job of blending together survival horror and action.

A solid entry to the franchise and a return to form, unfortunately with a few problems.

Revelations isn't just a simple spin-off, it's an entire Resident Evil experience on a handheld device.
