Hello Mister and Misses zombie, why, how many friends you have.

User Rating: 8.2 | BioHazard Outbreak (PlayStation 2 the Best) PS2
Resident Evil fans jumped for joy when the concept of the game was released. Racoon City overun run with zombies and you play as a survivor in a group of three to fight them off by cooperating in combat and exploration AND it's online. The unfortunate side was that when it came out, we found that the outbreak was split into five levels, the AI was not very smart and that the online feature had been removed. None the less, this game manages to deliver the deal. Graphics wise, the CGI cutscenes are some of the most beautiful in the series, escpecially the beginning one, seeing G from Resident Evil 2 slaughtering marines in the sewer and we watch rats carrying the virus into the city, it was amazing. As for gameplay, the graphics are great but not amazing with the unmovable camera still there. Gameplay is the same as ever, fighting zombies, with the odd boss battle, collecting items and solving puzzles. Except, this is the first resident evil to feature a level set up. Working with the two other members of your team works reasonably well, with the right analog stick as well as the R2 button being used to speak commands to your team mates, although they don't always listen and normally wonder off anyway. Music is nice and atmospheric and goes with the situation and enviroments perfectly. This is also the first Resident Evil to feature this many unlockables, extra costumes, SFX theaters, movie mode, unlockable modes and additional characters are all up for grabs, which are purchased with points collected from playing the game. Unfortunately, as said, online mode was scrapped, limiting the gameplay a bit. Other than that, this is a solid Resident Evil game and will not fail to deliver a blackened, blood stained smile. Now where did I put my splein.
