A worthwhile experience but the only thing that is going to save this game is free DLC.

User Rating: 5 | Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City X360
On the whole this game is enjoyable however there are many problems associated with it. It is a glitch ridden mess that will leave you thinking WTF? The story itself makes no sense while sticking to a dedicated time line that is predictable. The whole thing is a gimmick on the notion of "what if Leon didn't survive and Umbrella did more to cover their tracks?".

The mechanics of the game could have been better thought out. Instead capcom are taking standardized game models and using it to make a quick buck. What they could have done to improve for starters is have zombies take more hits then humans instead of having them die relatively at the same rate. How they work though is zombies are close range and humans are long range without being any more distinct then that. The campaign was short consisting of only 7 stages (Not a spoiler because you can check them out before you reach the stages in one of the menus) that are about 30min in length each. A real game is about 40 hrs of gameplay minus the online aspect.

Personally, ORC could have been alot better but, sadly it falls short of being spectacular. More then one instance of free DLC is the only thing I can see actually saving this game. Don't waste 60 dollars on it it's not worth it. At most 45 but, even that's a stretch.

Rating: Mediocre - A game must beable to stand up on it's story. Online play is not grounds for any good rating because in a couple years (generously) there will be noone playing this game and the campaings flaws will show.
