- "All flash, no substance"
This was the first Resident Evil game I got for the PlayStation 2 and also the first Resident Evil game I played on the new generation consoles. At first I was excited by how great the graphics were and how good the zombies looked all up in your face just waiting to attack. That's pretty much it as far as the good things go. The gameplay is unique but that doesn't save its sloppy controls. The enemies are to easy and offer no challenge at all. The main boss of this game is complete trash. What really just takes the cake is when the main villain becomes a female from the T/G-virus I mean really WTF!!! Aside from some decent looking B.O.W's this game is only Resident Evil because its on the cover other than that the series can forget all about this horrible addition. Buy only if you are a collector but other than that stay away. 5/10

A decent game, however the wasted potential is saddening. And unless you have both a DualShock and GunCon, don't bother.

Only worth playing with a guncon in your 10 fingered hands.
