Resident Evil 3: Nemesis was to be the last of its kind… Leaving behind puzzles, classic RE gameplay and also the capability to come up with a good storyline, Code: Veronica tries to "improve" upon the gameplay but at the same time it lacked in other key parts as I mentioned above. While the game may have a few puzzles here and there, though they weren't too complicated to figure out. As far as the story goes, I thought it was ok, not as good as the first 3 games though, but it's still has one that will keep you interested to play through the end. Code: Veronica was to be the last game to have a few remains of what was RE before… but that's another story.
Gameplay: You play the role of Claire Redfield, though later on in the game you'll be switching to Chris Redfield to do certain objectives to make progress in the game. For a survival game, Code: Veronica doesn't seem to be challenging, so if you're an RE veteran you may want to boost up the difficulty or you're going to find plenty of ammunition on your way (if you know what I mean). If you're new to the series, this is something you may want to look into, however if you're not so high on graphics, then by all means play the first 3 RE games.
Final Score: Gameplay: 4/5 Storyline: 4/5 Difficulty: Easy to Normal
