As a long-time resident evil fan who owns and has beaten every resident evil, this is one that stands out in the series.

If you are a resident evil fan or are trying to become one, if you can find a copy of the game (i had to get "the essentials" box set even though I already had the two other games) you definetly have to add Resident Evil Code Veronica X to your collection. In my opinion, its one of the best resident evil games out to date. It feels like a fresh, new resident evil with new gameplay mechanics but still keeps enough to retain whats made Resident Evil the best of the best (in my opinion) series that it is. In other words, it doesn't let down the name it carries. The storyline is engaging throughout the game and will keep you focused on your objectives, and is complimented by great looking and entertaining cutscenes. Also. the ability to duel wield certain weapons adds another new level of gameplay and helps you to mow down the waves of undead you'll encounter (you'll have to fight more than in the past). If you appreciate the series and have enjoyed the resident evil games thus far, than this a must grab. Nice job on this one capcom.
