Resident Evil Code: Veronica does more with engaging players in the story than any other Resident Evil ever has. Despite how much everyone will hate the awful voice acting in one of the main character (Steve) the story is worth it, mostly because of the cool Wesker vs. Chris subplot. Otherwise this has the same gameplay as in RE2 and 3 only improved a bit in terms of how scary the game is. While it doesnt revert back to the style of the original it still manages to bring back the scary factor that had been missing. Also the knife is improved as a weapon so that it is not completely worthless anymore. Graphics arent terrible despite being a Dreamcast title and the sound is perfectly fine. Camera problems exist at times but at the same time it does some cool new things such as panning and such. Puzzles can be frustrating but no more than they always have been. Veronica is lengthy and intersting throughout. I would say that I may have enjoyed this almost as much as RE1 and RE4. It definitely surpassed the second and third titles. Certainly a game that fans should own.
