was Kevin VanOrd playing/reviewing the same game really? a 4.5 -_-? 7 playable characters all together (1 you have to unlock) 4 different perspectives on a great (sometimes confusing) story, quite a bit to unlock, terrific and vastly improved controls (in certain cases they aren't but it's forgivable) this IS a VERY ambitious game to say the least and I was expecting it to be broken..... far from it. Its production values show, with amazing graphics, interesting monster design, and special effects that put a Micheal Bay action fest to shame.

So again I ask was Kevin VanOrd playing/reviewing the same game? I kinda don't think he even tried, but whatever. different story for a different time. back to the review. I can gush about this game all day, and I simply think at least give the game a try if you haven't already. all the content in (surprisingly) 1 xbox 360 disc or (unsurprisingly) 1 ps3 disc, is more than worth the regular asking price.

okay now I will get to the individual campaigns, because that is THE common mistake in reviews, all 4 are different in their own ways

Leon: Majority of his story has zombies as the enemies, and is more like the survival horror of old, now notice i said more like, the only complaint i had with Leon's campaign is i wish there was more horror than crashing things lol.

Chris: my personal favorite RE character, more action (doesn't necessarily mean more ammo though so watch it), the ending is my favorite of the 3

Jake: almost always have a big monster on your tail, kind of like Chris's more action, and like all the other campaigns you learn more about a new character... the character himself is kind of a jerk, but he is still a new face and it is still cool to learn more about him.

???: I wont spoil the unlockable character for those who don't know yet.

So don't believe the negative reviews, and heck don't believe the hype. at least try it, rent it, borrow from a friend. and if you like it play the multiplayer as well. I personally havent played multiplayer but I am sure its just as good if not better than RE5 multiplayer
