Great game. Kevin VanOrd should be sacked, for doing a very poor job lately.
First of all, I was very cautious when buying the game because of the review that Kevin wrote. I did not buy the previous title from the Resident evil series either because of the poor ratings that the game got from Gamespot.
After playing Resident Evil 6 for 10 minutes I was hooked.
The gameplay is a lot different from the previous games in the series. Melee is a very important factor now. You can move and shoot at the same time, duck, roll and a lot more. The controls to do all that have a bit of a learning curve but what a reward once you get it down.
The game itself is a challenge, yes there are some cheap deaths in the game. An ambulance comes out of nowhere and overruns you. But most of the time the game feels fair to me.rnrnThe game has a cinematic feel but provides more then enough interactivity and the story is great.
In my opinion it is worth every penny I spend on the game which cannot be said from most titles nowadays even the ones with good Gamespot reviews.
Kevin should you be reading this, I thought you where one of the best and held you in high regard. But as of late your reviews just proof that you play the only for a short while before writing a ridiculous review. I think the huge difference between player reviews and yours are even more proof. Get your head out of your ass and start doing your job.
Your a blight on the gamers community right now. Punnishing developers that did a good job and rewarding those who do a piss poor one.
