And please don't say because it's "Resident Evil" or "Survival-Horror".
And no I'm not trolling, I just clearly want to know all the subjective pros.

My lady doesn't like video games much besides Pac-Man Championship DX but I convinced her that co-op on RE6 would be fun.
Turned out to be so much fun and she had tears in her eyes at the end of Jake's campaign with that last cutscene of him and Sherry. It was like we were in a movie together instead of just watching it. We're going to play RE5 the same way soon.
So I have no way of knowing how much I would have enjoyed RE6 without her but that doesn't matter. It was the experience and made me so happy.
Don't hate us because we're beautiful...

The new dodge mechanics work well too, almost got run over by a truck but the backwards jump I did with Leon and barely avoiding death was so badass I still can't believe I reacted quick enough for that to happen. I still replay that in my head. lol yeah this game is lacking in some areas but there's enough here to keep me entertained.

IMO this game does nothing better than it's counterparts. It does do things differently but that doesn't mean it does them well. I'm curious as well to see some pros to ths game. If it controlled well I probably would have enjoyed. And I don't wanna here all this bull about you get used to the camera and how the cover makes since half way through the game. The game should be fun from start to finish not half way through.
If people had this mentality years ago, everyone would have hated the original Resident Evils.
I wont say I got used to the camera. Instead, I'll say that there was nothing to get used to for me. The camera felt just right. It was... a camera. It acted how I thought it would.
Also, I don't see how you can think the cover doesn't make sense. Once I got the controls down (within a minute and a half after discovering you could get in cover,) it acted fine.
Anyways, the biggest pros to me were the overall controls (camera, movement, dodging,) and the large variety of enemies. The controls felt great, and added whole new gameplay opportunities to RE. I also liked the over-the-top melees, but those have been in the series since 4. The large variety of enemies really made killing stuff more fun. The amount of mutations was good, and I liked how mutations could be combined (such as strong legs, shield arm, and extendable arm.) Lastly, I'd say the sheer amount of content makes the game enjoyable. There are four separate campaigns with a total of seven characters. Each one plays differently from each other, adding a lot of replay value. Then, Mercenaries, Agent Hunt, and the addition of titles (objectives) added even more reason to keep playing.
