30FPS (even less at times it seems) and 720P makes my eyes bleed.

And that's not counting the AA, etc features the PC version will get.

Dunno if this was only on 360 but the thing that annoyed me most about it, is when you go behind cover, the enemies in the distance all go blurry. Bloody hard to target someone when it's all blurry.

No doubt you'll be able to turn that **** off in the PC version...I just wish it would come sooner...and I can't wait for the silky smooth controls most of all.

The game doesn't run at a smooth 30fps on consoles. It's probably more around 22-28. It's too bad the PC version is an afterthought for Capcom. Let's hope it comes out soon.

I totaly agree. I have a gaming PC, x360 and a ps3 and when the PC version was delayed , i tried the demo on x360 and ps3 and the game looked horrible on both and the frame rate was below 25. There was no way i could play like that , so i decided to wait for the PC version and i lost my hype about the game too:/

TS, you sound like a serious tool.

I found the game to look especially nice in many areas. IIt will obviously look better running in 2560 x 1440 natively on my PC + Crossover 27Q setup but the game still looks great on my 360 + Panny VT50 setup.

Get a good TV and STFU.

Oh, and the framerate dropping and screen tearing found in demo are nonexistent in the final game.

Stop being tools people. The game is technically great for what hardware the consoles offer. The reason why the textures are a step back from RE5 is because the lighting system is 10x better and the amount of darkly lit environments with dynamic shadows has increased substantially from RE5's brightly lit levels.

The game does look nice. But framerate drops definitely exist. I have it on 360 currently haha. That's just a lie. It definitely doesn't run at a smooth 30. If it at least did that, it would be a nicer experience. Once you've played at 60, you have to suck it up to play anything else.

i have to agree. it looks pretty good for a console game on my samsung plasma smart tv; im probably not going to get it for pc until the price is at least cut in half like i waited for with the fifth one.

im glad that the companies relegated their console versions to 1280x720 as well. the few console games that are at 1080 either look or run like ass.

ITT: Graphic whores circle gherkin each others' shiny flight sticks.

Modability is what people should be excited about for the PC version. The last two REs (4 and 5, that is) were made exponentially better and a tonne more replayable due to mods.

Graphics fidelity does not make a crappy game less crappy. Mods, however, can.

Well that's because of the hardware running. 512 MB of shared RAM, and the equivalent of a 7600 graphics card. Only game's you're getting to run in 1080P on that are sprite based games and low detail 3D games.

Graphic whores? I'm sorry, but the consoles clearly can't handle RE6.

If I had the option to run the game at 1080P, all the PC perks (AA, better shadows, etc) and around 60 FPS I would be glad. My rig could handle this.

Instead I settled for a sub-sub-par version of the game cos Capcom wanted to look after their console buddies first. I think I have a right to voice my opinion.

BTW I think "Game quality whores" would have been a more apt term for you to use.
