Not what I expected from the series, but still ok
It was a definate change of scenery to be in Africa this time and not what I was used to. I was happy to have this on XBOX 360 so I could see the game in good graphics while the other games were in crappier graphics consoles. The game was good, but certainly not as good as RE4 which I have down as probably the greatest game I have ever played and was PERFECT in everyway. So It was hard for this game to live up to the awesomeness of the last game RE4.
The controls were ok and took getting used to, The storage was terrible, while in other RE games you can buy a larger case to store more stuff, but in this game you can't and have to drop and request stuff from your partner. Then there was Sheva, and she was annoying as all hell and the game could definately lose her from it and gain the extra point to make this an 8.5, but she was terrible. She had horrible gameplay, sometimes didnt react to things, had an annoying accent and she was basically worthless throughout the game. I would have prefered no partner than to have had her around the whole game.
The game was pretty hard as well, unless you know what you are doing, it took a long time to get through many stages and how to find out how to beat certain bosses took a long time, so prepare to de a lot!
Overall, the graphica were fine, there were some slow areas and glitches, I ditn like it as much as the previous game, so it to me only got a 7.5, I had hopes of a 9+ for this game but it dissappointed me, a serious RE fan.
