Total overuse of quick time events along with horrible controls ruin this game

I did get used to the controls after some time. I did get used to camera issues and horrible partner AI. I did have fun despite the repetitive nature of the game, too many bosses and predictable story and characters. I did understand that this is no more a horror game but a somewhat broken action game. I did forgive the creators for giving me a very limited inventory space even though my character looks like he could carry a horse on his back. But I simply could not get past the overabundance of quick time events. Not just that it is pretty hard to hit those buttons quickly when you are using keyboard, but these events are just everywhere; you are never safe, they will always show their ugly face: in boss fights, when facing normal enemies, in cutscenes, even when you are just walking thinking you are safe BOOM they appear. The horror in the game didnt come from fun enemies (and there are some fun and challenging enemies) or atmosphere but from these QTEs that still give me nightmares.
