Resident Evil has come a long way from the 1990's in Raccoon City. We can wave goodbye to old style gaming for this series, yet we can look forward to an enjoyable change with this one. Sure, it has moved on from zombies, and for this I can never forgive Capcom. The game itself has adapted to fit with easier gaming due to controls and gamer skill being on average better. The monsters are more intelligent so you have to try harder. The gameplay is fun and the multiplayer is very strong, as a whole story that can be play co-operatively is amazing. Resident Evil 4 was scarier though and I must admit Resident Evil 5 does not scare the player as much as the old games, probably because ammo is not scarce. This game is one of many easy enemies rather than one of few and difficult. There has been a shift definitely. The storyline is average in my eyes but because it is a Resident Evil that has not altered from the true meaning of Resident Evil, it is one of the best games on the Playstation 3 that I have played yet. I always enjoy playing it and can return to it and do the story through again. It is enjoyable enough that you will want to colllect all the trophies and spend countless hours playing it.
