The Good: Old-school gameplay ● Many scary moments ● The mansion.

The Bad: Too short.

Resident Evil 5: Lost in Nightmares is a downloadable content which takes place before the events of the original Resident Evil 5. Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine are investigating the Spencer Estate. We find out that all the bodyguards have been killed and our mission becomes even more dangerous and hard.

Lost in Nightmares brings an old-school Resident Evil gameplay which I love so much. We won't find so many action like in the original RE5 fortunately. Instead, we will have more scary moments. There is no doubt that Lost in Nightmares is a true horror not just a shooting game which means that you can expect many scary elements. During playing the game we will have this amazing feeling of being here before. This is a mansion - long corridors, main hall, so Resident Evil 1 will cross you mind. As I wrote before, Jill is going to be our partner here. She is gorgeous and I really like her. Lost in Nightmares can be beat in half and hour so it's really short. Too bad, because the game is so climatic that I just love it.
What about the enemies? One word - Zombies! Hell yea! Zombies return and more.

Resident Evil 5: Lost in Nightmares is a outstanding addition to the original RE5. It has the old-school gameplay with many scary moments. This is how the original game should look. Is it possible for a downloadable content to be better than the full game? Of course, Lost in Nightmares is definitely better.
