If you loved Resident Evil 5 then you will probably love this if you didn't then you won't like it at all.

User Rating: 6 | Resident Evil 5: Desperate Escape PS3
The first added DLC was the old style of Resident Evil it felt dark and a bit creepy in areas and the puzzles were quiet clever this on the other hand is part of the story of Resident Evil 5.

Story

Featuring Jill and Josh escape from the island. It's gameplay is a more up to date Resident Evil style.

Gameplay

Basically everything is about the same as it was in Resident Evil 5. Unlike the last one there are no suprises or scares its just blowing up bad guys and escaping the island. You come up against normal villagers,Chainsaw Weidling mainiacs,Excutioners,Gatling Gun enemies and thats basically it. There is no real reason to go into to much detail since it is an extra add on like Lost in Nightmares. This is just like Seperate Ways but not as memorable or long.

Sound and Graphics

Well the same as Resident Evil 5 in terms of Sound and Graphics nothing to say it has nice graphics and solid sound.

Lastability

It takes about 1 hour at most to complete if your not messing about blowing up thousands of enemies.

Overall Opinion

Very short and to be honest not that enjoyable. I was quiet glad to get it over with. Hardly any puzzles and scares and it felt basically like an add on. While it has loads of enemies its not that enjoyable because you could blow them up again and again and there was plenty of ammo. I say if you liked Resident Evil 5 and I mean alot then its worth checking out but this wasn't to enjoyable and in fact I found it quiet boring and just wanted it to end after a while.Only get it if you loved Resident Evil 5.
