Does everyone know that the wii controls have been in development since the 1980's? Anyone remeber the Power glove Nintendo's first motion sencitive controller?

sony has been working on this motion tech since 2001 even before the release of the original eyetoy for ps2. they first started with tracking a regular ball on a stick but couldn't get past recognition problems with inconsistent lighting and colors. then they tried light up balls but only were able to do one color until recently when multicolored LED's have become cheaper. the rest of the tech inside the thing is the same as whats inside of a normal sixaxis/dualshock 3 controller it is just used in a different way. so in a way, sony kinda was doing all this motion gaming stuff first before everyone else. they ripped sony off without even knowing it.

@InFamous_626 it dosen't seem like the move is a cheap version of the wii, with the camera, it will more precise, and easier to use than the wii's sensor bar... if you have the ps3, you should consider picking it up, I am if not, why debate it? or downtalk it... the wii is not the king of the hill, and it won't be forever...

the move update is making more interested in this game, the move so slow when you have your weapon drawn... using the move button to shoot instead of a face or shoulder button? hope they will let you remap, the controls...

@InFamous_626 It's not what "I think", it's Fact. Go look up the new Tech demo and stuff on Move. And Move was already in development before the Wii came out, Nintendo just wanted to get ahead so they released Wii first, matter of fact it's good that Wii came out first. So then Sony could then polish and make the Move better, rather then coming out with a SD version of motion control. I'm not dissing Nintendo, it's just Facts. It's 2010 after all...people have to learn that the Wii is now outdated.
