Resident Evil 4 Video Review

This was an interesting experience... Although I think the rating is a bit high..

never got the massive score on this one , i never thought it was that good

Got some rare things on sale stranger!

@Sgthombre I was merely stating my thoughts on the game that I had just bought. The criticisms are still relevant today regardless of how long ago they were made the only difference is less will be done about them because the game is so old.

@josh7845 Dude, you're jumping on points that were made 8 years ago.

I have downloaded the HD PS3 version and here are my thoughts: Unintuitive controls Bad writing Really cool inventory system Sucks that you have to pause the game to change weapons S'fun though and is certainly much better than RE5 At least in this game the girl is good enough to not bother you while you kick Spanish zombie ass

Great game,best PS2 game EVER.

Personally, I thought Separate Ways was pretty much worhtless. The only real reason to play though it is to unlock the Thompson.

Why must they always ruin the Resident Evil games by restricting you so you can't move while shooting? Who came up with that stupid idea? You cant strafe or back away as you're shooting. Dumbest sh*t ever.

RE4 is overrated and not scary. And puzzles do matter, despite reviewer saying otherwise.

So glad I decided to play this game again, forgot how much fun it was.

@Zyclobonzaron I haven't played this version, I own the gamecube version, so I don't know how this version is. But if its the same as the gamecube version, then I don't know why your complaining. This game is almost perfect.

I really have no idea why everyone likes this game so much. Resident Evil 4 has the absolute WORST controls of any PS2 game I have ever played. It only uses 1 analog stick for movement! It's completely terrible! This game was a total let down.

Five years later and it stills beats the crap out from the rest of competition. Best Resident Evil game ever, and yes it's better than RE5 by far.

im really glad i bought this game though i kinda just jumped into resident evil. I rmemeber playing one on ps1 and then i jumped to this and resident evil outreak ill buy code verinica or whatver next.

I've been thirty minutes in so far, and it's just horrible. I'll give this game a maximum of five hours of my life before I decide to let it gather dust in my closet or not.

Ive dug this out again and got the limited collectors edition so im chuffed. AND i forgot how easy it is to grasp the contols after so long. Much better than Resident Evil 5

it is true HD, as he explained wide screen with no black bars. It's not Full HD (720p-1080p)

Nice spot :D, anyways i have never played the Gamecube version, only the ps2 version and im so satisfied, i want to play it over and over. BTW. The review is absolutely fine, the main reason why i watched this review because i wanted to know the differences. Over.

I have this game on PS2 and on Gamecube, if you get the "players' choise" version of the game (the same thing as greatests hits) you have all the extras of the PS2 version, not only that but RE4 on gamecube looks 20% better on PS2 (you can see some small graphical improvement)

he didnt even talk about the new machine gun and laser thingy! you can defeat seperate ways and then get a mafia like costume for leon. its kinda cool that you can do something with the hat!

This review is pretty lame they mostly compare the GC to the PS2.
