Resident Evil 4 is one of the greatest game there ever is but when you face it on pc all the greatness flushes down the toilet. But when not rightfully delivered some people always finds a way. Thats the case with RE4.
Originally a horrible pot with no mouse support , awkward graphics and really low quality FMV cut scenes that can turn down any avid gamer but once you applied some of the third party patches that exists in abundance in cyber space you got yourself a true masterpiece. Its a shame that capcom itself havnt done anything about the patches

The game itself stands on its own though.Storyline is immersive. characters are memorable and some really cool unlockables just add the cherry on the cake. Leon Kennedy is sent to some remote part of europe to search for a damsel obviously in distress (presidents daughter) and the fun just begins. The envoirment is pretty creepy,the AI is amazingly smart ,and boss fights will jam your behinds to the seat. Needles to say that how innovative the concept is even for a series like resident evil , the fact that its an entire village of cultists against you in a remarkably realistic environment gives me the chills and yeah dont forget about the damsel too.
With the mouse patch you can use mouse but it will make the game needlessly easy so stick to the gamepad. The graphics after patching exceedingly surpasses any other version and are an eye candy(unbelievable work by some random guy) and offcourse the core game itself.
All these combined will really give anyone a jolly good time
