This really is just a great game. It just can't get boring.
As soon as the game starts you're pretty much on your own left to survive in an insane town somewhere in Europe. I won't spoil anything but you technically don't fight zombies in this one. Anyways, the gameplay has definitly changed but in a way that it feels very familiar to classic resident evil games.
Another thing I happened to notice is they took away the tediousness of some of the stuff in the other resident evils. One of these things is, you don't need an ink ribbon to save anymore. Also ammo seems more plentiful, not to the point where it feels like you can kill anything but just enough so it doesn't feel like you'll end up getting stuck in the game. Part of this is the fact that killed enemies drop loot. Which is really awesome, one of my favorite things in games is collecting loot. There's also money to upgrade and buy new weapons and items which is pretty interesting too since it can make you have your own play style.
On a side note the graphics are completely amazing and never fail to impress. Also the enemy AI is pretty solid, I've only seen maybe one or two mistakes in it, and it's nothing that gets in the way.
I don't even want to talk about it anymore, just get this game, you owe it to yourself. =D
