I first read about this game here on Gamespot and read excellent things about it so i decided to go out and buy a copy. From the moment i started to play, i was hooked and didnt put it down for hours. The gameplay, the graphics and just the shear action and goriness and frightfulness of this game did this to me. I thought the first part of the game was good and then as i got more and more into the game it impressed me more and more. I absolutely loved the diversity of the weapons you could get; handguns, shotguns, rifles and even rocket launchers, and they're just a few of the wide range. At times this game scared me stiff, with zombies coming out from everywhere attacking me with weapons varying from axes to electric rods. One part that didnt so much scare me but rather surprised me greatly was when i first got my head cut off by the character with a chainsaw, very violent but it was impressive. A key part that added to the scare factor was the unbelievable graphics that made the zombies frighteningly realistic. These graphics are easily the best i have ever seen on PS2 and i hear the Gamecube's are even better, wow! For the next gen consoles RE5 will be at the top of my list because i'm sure it will be even better than this Resident Evil 4, and that will be very, very impressive if it is. Also I love the extra parts like Separate Ways. Easily my favourite game at the moment and is a must for anyone, even if you're not a fan of the Resident Evil series, BUY IT NOW! Awesome game!
