the stage thats the bottom right of the 4, as soon as i start the big guy with the 2 blade chainsaw appears and just keeps chasing me swinging away lol, i didnt see this guy throughout the story, why does he appear so fast, i thought the longer you make it into the stage the harder it got, i cant seem to last very long without getting my head chopped off by him, is this suppose to happen, just doesnt make any sense to me
Dude, the only hope is to check youtube for video walkthroughs. Then memorize the playstyle and movements, mimic them and hope for the best.
I believe others have stated that on some levels, particularly with the Super Salvadore, there's a fair amount of luck involved in passing the level. There's also something about a zipline on that level. The ladder isn't the usual refuge because Super Salvadore can jump to the top faster than you can climb. Although jumping down may still be an escape.
That's my muddled message. I've no real interest in Mercenaries. The combat in 4RE's not that fun for me when being mobbed. The HandCannon doesn't interest me, as the exclusively upgraded Broken Butterfly is already massively overpowered. That's before considering the Chicago Typewriter, the P.R.L., and the Infinite Rocket Launcher.
Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

You feel so good when finally unlocking the handcannon. You will have controller-breaking moments frequently - but the satisfaction is worth it!
Make an instrumental add a little vocal; take to the stage and make the people go loco!

Here's what I did for the fourth stage. Restart until you begin on the scaffold. Go up the ladder to get a time bonus, and this is where you'll fight ganados off until Super Salvadore shows up. A single shot will knock the ganados off the ladder, and usually the fall kills them. You might want to let a few come up so you can kill them and get item drops for Hunk.
Leon takes SS out by shotguns to the head when close (SS will get stunned). Ada and Wesker use the rifle (also stuns). Krauser has his instant kill. With Hunk I start off by shooting him in the head. SS will get stunned, then I toss grenade. I try to repeat that. If it gets a bit hairy up there drop down to the scaffold you spawned on. Using constant grenades is risky because they hardly stun SS, and if Hunk goes into his flinch animation SS will recover before you do.
I find going to the opposite corner from the corner you came up on the top scaffolding helps SS spawn in the next 10 to 30 seconds. If a minute goes by without hearing his chainsaw you should probably restart the level. He usually comes up the ladder you did, but he might come up the other one.
Once you killed that SS drop down from the other ladder at the top scaffolding, and head to the area at the right. A steady wave of ganados turn up here, so it's a good place to keep your combo going. If you have working combo keep killing ganados in this area. If it's broken climb up the ladder that's near the explosion barrel. There will be a time bonus, and also get the item in the barrel that's several steps in front of you. Then get the kill bonus treasure that's to the right of the ladder you came up. Drop back down and start killing ganados until the second SS arrives.
Position yourself where an item barrel was in a corner; slightly past a door that is to the left of the ladder. SS has always came from the other side of this path, and it's a good distance away. If you didn't use the explosion barrel in the area you can use it against SS. Now that there is a good amount of space between you and SS I felt more comfortable lobbing grenades at him with Hunk.
If time gets tricky during the killing in this area there is another time bonus inside the room behind the door.
If you have a combo working after SS is dead you can keep it going until there is 30 seconds left. Then head towards the way the second SS came. You'll see a kill chest in the middle of the area, but don't get it until the area starts filling up. First get the three time bonuses in the area. Two are just outside the kill chest area; the third is in short path that leads to a door (inside the door is the room with the time bonus that helps if time got tricky; you can also get to this new area using that path).
Then use the kill chest and start killing. When the kill bonus expires you can take the stairs that was behind one of the time bonuses. To the right is a door, and behind the door is another kill bonus. There's also a time bonus in this room, but you should be pretty close to 60,000 by now. If you need even more time there is a time bonus outside the window of this room, and another visible one nearby.
Wow, to confirm those last time bonuses I loaded up the game. If you start the level on the ground floor you can kill the first SS super easy. When the level starts rush to the the third kill bonus room; going up the stairs already mentioned (it's pretty much straight forward). When you kick open the door SS will have his back to you, and just begin revving up his chainsaw. I kept stunning him with shotguns to the head without having to move from where I opened the door.
