I'm definitely getting this when it comes out. I played it when it was available for PS2. Playing it on the Wii was fantastic. Like some have said earlier, playing RE4 with a Wiimote seemed to be the best way to play this game. The resolution for the HD version based on this video looks very clean. RE4 was one of the few games that I replayed many many times (mainly to unlock cool stuff like the Chicago Typewriter or to replay Separate Ways or even unlock the knight's armor for Ashley to wear, or to play as Ada Wong). I still think RE4 is a lot better than RE5 and in some ways, RE1 (and 0). This game's version of Mercenaries seemed a lot more fun than the newer version in RE5. I'm wondering if this re-release will include Separate Ways and Mercenaries. Hmmmm.

Not sure I can go back to a normal controller after such precise aiming with the Wii remote. It will seem weird, but i'll still buy it, since it's inHDand all.

After playing this on Gamecube, then PS2, then Wii... I am having a really hard time justifying buying this for the 360. This is a prime example of how companies do not listen to their fans. We want an HD update of RE: 2 not the fifteenth re-release of RE: 4.

HD remakes are the best thing ever for some of us newbie gamers who havent played anything before the 360 launch excpet ofcoz for som random mission/chapter of some ps2 game at a friend house (need for speed, GTA, POP)

I am looking forward to this WAY more then Gears 3. This game inspired the Gears franchise. I know someone is going to say they don't believe me so if you don't check out the dvd that came with the special edition of gears 1 and cliffy b talked all about how he was playing resident evil 4 and got the idea for gears. I will be getting this but it's unfortunate that it looks exactly like the PC version played at 1080p. Granted that to get the 360 controller buttons you have to use a mod. It even looks like this is locked at 30fps too. The 360 and PS3 could surely play this at 60fps. I suspect they didn't unlock the framerate because when you do it on PC everything is twice as fast and aiming becomes really hard. They could have made the textures higher resolution too. A modded PC version looks better. If I didn't like this game so much and want the achievements I don't think I would buy this. They could have done a better job. It just doesn't seem like they did all that much with the time they had. you could probably install the PC version and apply the mods you would need to make it look exactly like this in less then 30 mins and it's taken them months to do this. i do know that the architecture for the 360 and PC are different but still they could have done more. If this is more then 800MP I think I might pass for now. I will get it later though when I am bored and need something to play. I've played through this about 10x on the PC with highly modded guns and graphics so more then $10 is too much.

i've completed this for ps2 about 15 times in all difficulty mode ,just love this game, cant wait to get my hands on it with xbox 360 controller \m/ will be fun again

Even though I bought this game for Wii, Gamecube, and Ps2, I'll definitely buy it again for 360. I do wish it had a few more improvements other than just a res boost, but whatever the game is fantastic.

looks like the graphics are clearer, i have this for gamecube but my brother will get this and i will play it untill i beat the game 100%, again

Great for people who havn't played this game yet, it's a lot better than 5. I'm not getting it since I still have it for the GameCube and ran through it more than 10 times.

This is one of the best games i've ever played and love it, but it doesn't look like they changed anything. And Code Veronica looks to have the same tank-like controls. It's great they're releasing this on Live because it's not worth full retail price like it was 7 years ago.

anyone know what the price tag will be, cause if they charge it as a full price new release then capcom can go suck it.

Will Resident Evil 4 is the most milked game out of all Resident Evil games but When I first played resident evil 4 in 2006 on Ps2 it was the best of game of my life and now on Xbox 360 , Playstation3 even better :) I will pay $60 to play this game one more time :)

Nope its GC/WII port. The Proof is (Leon's Hair waves when shooting (Backward Hairs), Water element is same GC/WII, Dinamic lightning effect on Leon whole body on walking ect.

Capcom for the love of god, get with it. 1. You are releasing a game that has already been ported to the wii, and now your porting it to all the other consoles half a decade after the original 2. Just because you wack a big HD at the front doesn't mean people are going to buy it, the xbox and ps3 are HD and if you arent adding anything u might aswell just release it as DLC 3. September 20th, you chose that day. WTF are you LOCO you pick the exact same day that gears of war 3 comes out, capcom are you seriously retarded. 4. last but not least. you have had 5 huge resident evil games that were all great but dont you think there should be some form of add on, im not saying online mercenaries.
