All in all, it keeps true to the movie as much as possible. Worth a check in the bargain bin.

User Rating: 7.5 | Reservoir Dogs XBOX
Reservoir Dogs is based on the movie but doesn't stray from it like other games seem to do. The game feels like a mix between Grand Theft Auto and Splinter Cell as the missions are straight forward yet pretty basic and uncomplicated. Each mission is cut up into checkpoints making it easier to accomplish the task. Also, missions have a continue from feature but I've yet to manage it after shutting off the Xbox seemingly defeating the purpose. The maps from each mission are usually long and very linear but sometimes there are little tricks and things you need to unlock or open to find a blueprint.

There are both on foot and driving missions, the driving missions are very simple but mechanics could have been cleaner. On foot missions are good, the controls are simple and easy to remember yet not just your standard type controls they really added some new and great control ideas! The graphics aren't top notch but they're not horrible either, it gets the job done but you clearly know it's a video game. Fans of the film will probably be disappointed in the lack of original voices but Michael Madsen reprises his role as "Mr. Blonde" though this makes the game feel a bit like Driv3r. Each mission is chunked into chapters instead of linear but it's much like the movie, going backwards and forwards constantly.

All in all, it keeps true to the movie as much as possible. Worth a check in the bargain bin.
