Republic: The Revolution

This could have been one of the greatest games ever made.

Let me be clear: this game kinda sucked. However, the more I played it, the cooler it got. The story and concept is freaking awesome, and I was totally immersed in the idea of starting a revolution through political handling and dirty business. Pretty sweet in that respect. That's like my fantasy anyway.

That's what made this so disappointing. I saw how awesome it COULD have been, but I also saw how much it stunk as a game. Basically it plays as a graphical board game and the city view is basically pointless. Don't even get me started with having to watch these retarded cut scenes over and over and watch NPCs taking 3 minutes to find their way around a car while mumbling something in a fake language.

Oh well, I did play it for a long time, which has to count for something.

Please, please, please, someone make a remake or sequel to this game, it had potential.
