Gamespot, we now have next gen console platforms, better graphics and ever improving technology. Why on earth can't you offer us videos with 1080p?? Don't you think its time?

Good Review though...

Just completed the game and must say this is fairly accurate review but I gave it 7.5 just because of pretty good ending.

i hope this is good enough for capcom to use as a proof of concept even though it falls short in many areas. In a similar way to the original Assassins Creed. Poorly executed game but showed a lot of promise that they built on in the sequel.

Nowadays people think that having a good concept will sell the game. They forget to work on the mechanics and gameplay.

I find it hilarious that the devs were going on about how there should be more female protagonist and empowering females, yet their box art is the lead showing of what I take is suppose to her "perfect" ass. lol the game looks alright anyhow.

This game is like an art-piece. Too bad it doesn't play as good as it looks!~ Definitely worth a solid rent though!

The game looks fresh and beutifull why 7?story looks diferent and the environment  looks amazing i guess for a 9 it would have to be a american city instead of paris.

@Barrakas21 Because appearances are what make the game.  Anyway, I guess Gamespot gave the latest Assassin's Creed the highest score in the series because it was set in America, so your comment makes perfect sense.....oh wait.....

I wish I could buy this game to show some support, but I can't buy games from my current location. I hope it gets a sequel. We need more games with female protagonists (because I like the shape of their ass and women characters are cute and fun to control). We also need more futuristic sci-fi whether the setting is Earth or another planet.

I wish we could explore the beautiful world in this game. They say it's because of budget but I say it's because it's linear and also because they wanted the performance to be very smooth. Look at the name of the publisher. This is Capcom. How many Capcom games have you played that let you explore the world?

This game looks no more confined than any Devil May Cry game but we complain about the fact we can't explore and only because the world around looks so wonderful, and also  because this game was supposed to have "sandbox elements" and apparently that's not true.

I'm pretty sure the only reason it's so confined and so linear is because Capcom wanted it that way. Their games are often confined to provide excellent performance and linear story, but I would personally take a performance drop in favor of a world that I can explore. DONTNOD is a new developer. Developers gotta respect the wishes of the publishers especially when it's a David and Goliath situation such as this one. Personally, I think if DONTNOD had gotten with another publisher, such as Bethesda, we'd be able to explore the world. Then again, a company like Bethesda would probably have them tone down the eye-candy. This game would do best with a publisher such as Rockstar, whose games are usually ambitious and open-world. I hope the sequel is allowed more room.

The game does seem very interesting, but I have never really payed attention to it at all. So I was a bit surprised to see the review for it suddenly. With all the buzz I saw occasionally, I figured it would be something amazing, but this type of score doesn't surprise me in the end.

I may consider picking up Remember Me, but it is not really at the top of my gaming priority list of games I don't own yet.

maybe it will bring in enough cash to make the sequel better, more refined

At least he didn't butcher the game like IGN with their 5.9 score.

That IGN guy was just nitpicking, complaining about how the combat was good, but not great.

Guess he was just butthurt cause he had too high expectations, and he took it out on the overall score.

Anywho, I still don't think it's fair to give a lower score just because a game is linear. Just because a game is linear doesn't necessarily make it bad. The same way that open-world games where you can explore doesn't mean it's better just cause of that.

@b0sse both uncharted and god of war games are linear and they have great scores

@wrestlemaniaw @b0sse Much like their Comics Editor, who is a total moron and doesn't have a clue about comic books.

Just because you read comics when you were 12, doesn't make you a comic book editor...oh wait at IGN it does!

I had such high hopes for this game. It's a little disappointing that this game isn't all I hoped BUT I think I might buy it anyway because this the world still seems pretty interesting. I'll buy it and hope they produce an Assassin's Creed II to this games Assassin's Creed.

@ExtremePhobia It is entirely possible that they are planning a sequel to this already, but if this game doesn't sell well then you can guarantee that the sequel will be cancelled.

unfortunately this game doesn't seem to be tempting me to part with any cash.

@ahmad996 @ExtremePhobia Assassin's Creed introduced a lot of new ideas and was a pretty good game, but it was Assassin's Creed II that refined them into a masterpiece.  @ExtremePhobia is saying that he hopes Remember Me 2 can be to Remember Me what Assassin's Creed II is to Assassins' Creed.

looks like this a game that couldn't use it's potential because of it's new and inexperienced developer. but still, I think I'm gonna give it a chance and try this game because it's innovative ideas.

though game spot is the only game review i trust, they still can suck sometimes( ign sucks all the time).  Its probably still not as bad as its being made out, all reviewers can over exaggerate game flaws.
