Very interesting yet very flawed

Red steel is a really interesting game, the story-line is very good and easy to understand and that is one of this games best things, the story-line. You play as scott and your japanese wife-to-be's father gets killed. Her father is a yakuza overlord (japanese mobster) Then you must leave LA and get to Tokyo very simple but very interesting and easy to follow. The voice acting on some characters was good and on others it was downright awful it got painful to listen to so i turned the volume off. The actual shooter parts were really fun because you actually need to think a bit before you start shooting you can hide behind cover or crouch down if you need to. The controls worked well but i think they used the motion controls a little too much as you would have to use them for almost everything. The sword fights were okay I didn't feel like a samurai while doing them, I actually just felt like i was twisting my arms in every way possible. And when you sword fight no matter how hard you smack your enemy you'll never draw any blood. Last thing I want to say is that the explosions were awesome, from blowing up a kitchen with a gas powered stove or just shooting gasoline tanks the explosions in the game were cool and made the game really fun. People should rent the game first because it definitely has some noticeable issues but is still crazy fun.
