Needs a whole new name, because this game is 25x better than Red Steel!

Gameplay – I enjoyed Red Steel 2 very much. I've played Red Steel only once, and I thought that the game didn't deserve to be adopted into the Red Steel family, but in fact, it deserved a whole new name due to being at least 25x better than Red Steel. The gameplay mechanics are very simple: swing the Wiimote to swing the sword (there are a lot of neat combos and tricks to do, too), or point at the screen with your gun.

Graphics – Amazing graphics for the Wii. A whole new style that reminds that of Borderlands.

9.5/10

-----

Length – Not the lengthiest game, totalling about 10-14 hours of story and then a challenge mode. If this had multi-player, the score would be higher.

8.2/10

Storyline – The story is not well told and I didn't really follow it. You won't remember it in a year – month – week – or probably even an hour after beating it.

Sound – Amazingly fitting sound-track, but horrid voice-acting that doesn't suit the game's theme at all. In fact, the only game that the voice-acting would fit is probably... No, I can't even think of a game, it's just so terrible.

Controls – Great controls, WiiMotion Plus works great!

Multi-player – No multi-player.

OVERALL:

Everyone had high hopes for this game, but some were worried because of it's older brother, Red Steel. I was expecting great things from this game, and it surpassed my expectations.
