Broken like a guards neck.

Now a lot of people like Ninjas. Me included. We have all played Tenchu and Ninja Gaiden. You probably still play them just to see peoples heads roll. Fun games. This one. Is not one of those games.

The graphics are quite pretty but pretty doesn't help make up for the games horrible disfigurement. The camara fairly frustrating. Forcing you to adjust it to awkward places. Just broken beyond repair. The battle system is based on you throwing a wire and either, decapitating, spliting in half, and de-ankling people. The controls are clunky and require a lot of ability, and a knack for working the camara. Which is in itself a near imposible task. The enitre game just feels less like a ninja game every level. You want to sneak. But sneaking takes far to long. The entire stealth mechanic is lamer then FDR's legs. And you want to seduce a gaurd so you can stab him. But it seems that the guards could be 100 and not seen a beautiful girl in ages, and they still don't fall for it. They almost always run to attack. Might as well go through the entire game killing and maiming.

The graphics and effects are pretty. But they just don't help bring life to this dead ninja game. Sound effects are also good, and so is the music. But these possitive traits are hobbits compared to their big brother, flaws. The wire is a fun tool when you hang someone from their head. It is original. And has potential to be very interesting. But it doesn't seem to make a full attempt at utilizing it. But don't hesitate to string a guard up if you see the chance.

The story is incredibly boring and also lame. Not enough to sink your teeth into. It all boils down to these simple facts.
1. If you want a game that has a ninja in it. And is based in Japan. Buy Samurai warriors. Least you get your moneys worth.
2.If you see it at your local store. Skeet shot it. It is better then leaving it and letting some other poor parents buy it and it suck. 3.Go ahead. Do it. You will want to give it a chance. But...it will just dissapoint you.
