Great wall blowing fun!
Story: The story of Red Faction is quite simple and easy to get on with. It's about a man named Parker who leads a rebellion on Mars. He was a miner and was one of many who were getting treated badly. They had no Human Rights and a disease named the plague was spreading and he decided it was time to get out of there. It's a good story but nothing special.
Graphics: The graphics are decent for its time though it could have been better. It has a few glitches here and there and the graphics get jumbled up from time to time but those are minor faults in which you need a keen eye to see. Other than that it is good graphically.
Music and Voice Acting: Now this is one of my favourite parts. There is barely any music!! It's mostly quiet and puts you on the edge of your seat since there is no music. There is just the sound effects which are superb and showing how that a game doesn't music. For the voice acting, it is pretty good. Again nothing special but no one will find any character annoying.
Game Play: Now this is the best part of the game. Almost everything in the gameplay is perfect. The controls are easy, quick and precise. The camera angles are great. And it's amazingly fun. Just shooting soldiers is great fun. But the best part of all… Shooting walls! Now I know it's not much as there are certain walls you can't destroy but this is possibly the first game where you can destroy walls and walk through them.
Overall: This is a great game. Really fun and not too long. It maybe a little challenging to a few people but it's not too hard once you get used to it. So this game deserves a worthy 8.5.
