"Underappreciated"

Now I'm not a huge fan of open world shooters as the graphics tend to suck, and the over all game play gets sucked up in cutscenes, or worse lack there of. Red Faction Guerrilla suffers from lack of plot about half way through the game.

While it's not a total loss because this game has more guns, and weapon ideas that all some how work so well you can't truly shake a stick at it and claim it sucks. the destruction system works wonderfully even if some times you can take down all of a buildings major supports and it might still be standing for a few seconds.

The sound is top notch, the graphics are impressive for a game with no loading screens other then when you jump from one location to another, the world detail is perfect, and the enemy AI is just smart enough that you should take cover when attacking convoys, tanks, or APCs.

Over all this game is rock solid but as I said the story falls short half way through and it's sad because it starts off with a strong start, and finishes kinda half way.
