Crackdown on the Red Planet

Red Faction: Guerrilla is an open world game where you can choose which missions you want to take on in any order you like. To me, its gameplay is similar to Crackdown or InFamous, where you work on clearing all the missions one sector at a time. Except instead of the environment being in a city, you are on the red planet. (The graphics and setting of this game are very cool in my opinion) Instead of collecting orbs or shards, you collect several other things such as ore, radio tags, and EDF crates, as well as destroying all propaganda you find. Like Crackdown, there are a wide variety of missions, including timed driving missions. The super powers you acquire and upgrade in RF: G are all related to your ability to destroy the environment. A main element of the gameplay is destroying EDF property, be it buildings, signs, towers or vehicles. This is all very cleverly woven into a coherent and interesting story, with exciting gun battles, and many moments of pleasurable high explosive destruction. I give it a 9 and definitely recommend it.
