I have waited along time for this to come out for PC, and I was not dissapointed. The geo modding aspect of this game is quiet fun. Bringing large buildings down is quite a thrill, even more so when they can crush your enemies. For those that have played any of the grand theft auto games you will feel right at home. Third person shooter fun with varying missions scattered throughout the map. Missions such as Demolitions master, Heavy Metal, and many others throw some added fun into the mix. The campaign story is straight forward, save Mars! You do so by dropping the control of the Earth Defence Force and gaining loyalty of the Martian civilians. Either by destroying EDF property or doing missions. Weapons range from your average assualt rifle and pistol to a bone crunching sledge hammer, singularity bombs to the nano rifle that breaks down matter. I have yet to find very many multiplayer games in the few weeks I have had the game, so there isn't much I can say regarding that aspect. But I can say there are some new and some original game types. Red Faction will require a somewhat capable PC to run.
