In Red Faction Guerrilla you destroy enemy building and other high profile items to free Mars from the EDF. The red faction is a resistance group fighting the EDF, at the base of the red faction is each sector you can stock up on ammo, buy new weapons, get a new vehicle, and to hide. Salvage is the currency which is used to buy everything. Salvage can be found by destroying buildings and completing missions and side quest. The side quest usually consist of saving hostages or raiding the EDF. There are also EDF buildings that can be destroyed, by destroying the building you drop a some of EDF`s control on the sector and raise the morale which is the balance between the colonist in the sector helping you in battle. Decides the campaign there is also wreaking crew where you and friends can try to cause more damage than the others. This game great even though its repetitive.
