Technically competent, but just did not click with me, and I gave up on it after 15 hours

I really wanted to like this one after reading all the positive reviews, so I found it on sale, and started in. Played through the first set of missions and arrived at the second area with another set of same missions. Did those and opened up even more of the same kind of missions. And now after 15 hours of gameplay, I decided I had enough of this.

The missions never really felt fun to me, and the gameplay itself never really clicked with me. I never felt part of the world or clicked with my character like I did with similar games Infamous or Borderlands (both of which I loved).

This game felt more like Crackdown did, but not so much fun, if that makes sense. I mean the weapons were fun to play around with, and the vehicles where interesting to drive, but the missions were just too boring, and it looks like there is just more of the same from where I stopped.

So in summary, it looks like I'm in the minority here, but just wanted to say this game was not for me.
