Did you ever want to ride a horse and shoot someone?

My review is for the single player campaign. The Good: Whats nice about this game is that it is non-linear. You can decide to do the main quests as you wish while doing side quests, playing endless hours gambling in the casinos playing poker(no-limit holdem), blackjack, dice, even horseshoes. The game has a true western cowboy style feel and a Grand Theft Auto IV feel and Max Payne feel at the same time. If you ever played Max Payne and remember slow-mode this game has a similar skill. You can momentarily slow down all the action in a big gun battle for a few seconds to target enemies or get out of the way; this ads a fun aspect the the game. There are side quests that involve reading a wanted poster and finding the man wanted for a reward; you get rewarded more for lassoing him, putting him on the back of your horse and bringing him to jail. This is harder to do than simply killing him. You can chose to be a good guy by helping the sheriff or a bad guy by killing anyone you desire. The Bad: This is the Old West afterall and you cannot have sex with any of the countless prostitutes that walk around the towns. The cutscene get monotonous and boring after about the 10th one and you have to watch them sometimes. The game is somewhat easy when using dead eye mode(slow everything down) but its necessary for some parts of quests. The feel for showdown one-on-one fights could be better. This game is worth buying and easy to find used.I am about to get into the expansion pack which involves zombies.
