Rockstar Games is showing its strength. Red Dead Redemption is an open world game that touches perfection in every aspect. The graphics are really detailed. The characters' design is really impressive and the scenery is breathtaking. Rockstar Games has made huge steps since Grand Theft Auto IV, by improving both graphics and combat system. The cars are replaced by horses in America's 1911 and a new story awaits every player, as you assume the role of John Marshton, a former outlaw, tracking down his former gang in order to save his family and redeem himself.

As far as the gameplay is concerned, you can practically do whatever you want to. The game features a morality system that is completely dependent on your choices. You can either be good and help others, or bad and act as an outlaw. The solo mode is quite intriguing and as it unfolds, you get the chance to participate in a lot of missions and reach your original goal step by step. Aside from missions, you have the opportunity to roam and take part in numerous activities. You can go to towns and gamble, participate in duels, watch movies or just go in the wilderness and collect herbs, hunt animals and skin them for profit.

Red Dead includes a multiplayer mode as well. There is "deathmatch" mode, "capture the flag" and free roaming, where players can join parties and act any way it suits them.

To make a long story short, Red Dead Redemption is a definite "must have" in every serious gamer's collection.
