Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare Pack User Review
- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 10 Hours or Less
- The Bottom Line:
- "Worth playing"
The most recent DLC that is available both to download and to buy from a stand alone disc, adds to the already immersive and wonderful game as it brings a new story, new music and new missions as well as new modes in online multiplayer.
The single player is centred around our gun slinger hero John Marston as a ravenous plague of the undead sweeps over Austin and he has to save the day. The gameplay is mostly the same as you complete missions, sides quests, saving towns and well as having the chose to do good deeds whilst riding around. Also wandering around the wilderness are the four horses of the apocalypse free to catch and to 'break in' for John to ride. The game provides new challenges, achievements and 'souls to find' instead of wanted posters. This is all action filled with body bits flying everywhere as you shoot your way through hundreds of these meat eating cannibals. The sounds and graphics are incredible once again across the board either offline or online. The variety of weapons is still there with a few added new items. The new online mode is a wave after wave of undead zombies come flying at you and friends as you try to survive the endless waves. This is addictive and is also very good to play with other online players. All in all this addition is well worth playing as it contains a very good single player campaign as well as new modes online, therefore needs checking out now.
