I'm here to say farewell.
I've been visiting Gamespot for one, two decades, I don't know.
What I do know, is that after I post this review, I will never visit this site willingly again.
Gamespot has now refused to acknowledge Rockstar's achievement of producing the two best games ever made by giving Grand Theft Auto V (#2), and now Red Dead Redemption 2 (#1), scores of 9/10.
This is intolerable.
It is obvious that someone at the highest level of Gamestop has a problem with Rockstar.
After just playing and beating Red Dead Redemption 2, I cannot express the level of disgust I have with Gamespot for giving this game a 9/10. Giving this game a 9/10... holding it on the same shelf with the other games they have give 9 scores, is absolutely unacceptable, and it is the last, final permanent stain on the legitimacy of Gamespot for anything.
I am done with Gamespot. I don't know what their problem is with Rockstar, but I refuse to support Gamespot in any way, permanently.
They already alienated me with the bogus GTA V review of 9/10, but this is the final straw.
I assert that Gamespot is not a legitimate source for video gaming anything anymore. It is a failure of objectivity to give this game a 9/10.
I will go out of my way to discourage people from visiting this site for anything.
