This game was oddly addicting and frustrating at the same time.

User Rating: 8.5 | Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale PC
Recettear is a great game for virtually anyone!

First off, you can read the plot to the game anywhere online, so basic rundown:

- You live alone, father left you before the game started
- Fairy comes to your door to collect money for his debts, you don't have the money, so she suggests you open item shop
- You open an item shop and make payments every week
(yes, thats the gist of the whole story)

What I enjoyed:

- The simple story, so you never had to follow much
- Being the one behind the counter to make prices, instead of pay stupid prices for items
- I don't want to work, I don't have to
- Fusing items to make better ones
- The second run through was just as fun as the first
- The special alerts in dungeons (example: SP consumption halved)
- Price fluctuation due to current trends

What I didn't enjoy:

- Repetitive music (I turned it off, and put my own on)
- Dungeons were very bland
- The little girl that comes into my shop every time!!!!
- No real item creation aside from fusion
- My shop getting flooded by about 20 old guys looking for items I don't have

I myself don't play RPG's too often, but I highly recommended this game! It took me about 20 mins before I reached a point where I did not want to put it down, so this is your warning :-P

Its in English - Its on Steam - Its $20 USD
^So far I have put about 16 hours into the game, and I do not see myself putting it down any time soon
